About Mister Tootsie

Mister T lives in Goa and has made his longstanding dream of owning a Cocktail Bar come true! He, along with his dear friend, have launched an art-deco themed bar, “Miguel’s | Cocktails & Petiscos” - in the heart of Fontainhas, the old Latin Quarter in Panjim, the capital city of Goa. Mister Tootsie brings refinement, experience and inventiveness to each cocktail at Miguel’s.

Mister Tootsie’s Background

Tootsie’s background managing top end bars, clubs and restaurants (WWWater Bar, Midnight Blues, Babushka, Magnolia, Cubar and Mango) in two of the United Kingdom’s most happening cities have prepared him for his current avatar as consultant and training manager for up and coming establishments in his native India.

His Awards

Whilst managing Babushka in Chelsea (London), Mister Tootsie’s establishment was awarded “Best Cocktail Bar of the Month” by Absolut Vodka. As he showed exceptional ability and promise in his field, he was flown to Ahus by the company to tour their facility and to learn more about the process of making Sweden’s best-selling vodka. 

He was also awarded the “Viva la Diva Cointreaupolitan” cocktail promotion by Cointreau.

Time To Thyme . . . . . 1. In a shaker, muddle the cucumber and thyme. . 2. Add celery juice, lime juice and gin into the shaker. . 3. Double strain into a wine glass filled with ice. . 4. Top up with sparkling water. . 5. For garnish use
Dragon Fruit Mojito . . . . . 1. In a glassware, muddle the mint, lime wedges and sugar. . 2. Add dragon fruit and rum to the glass and then muddle lightly to mix all ingredients. . 3. Add crushed ice to the glass and top up with soda water. . 4. Gar

Whiskey Sour . . . . . 1. Begin with separating the egg white and drop it into the cocktail shaker. You may avoid this and move straight to the next step too. . 2. Add whiskey, lemon juice & sugar syrup to the shaker. . 3. Half fill up the shaker
